About Freya

Originally from Wales, I’ve always been creative, the kind of person who’s tried a little bit of everything over the years. But stained glass was the one that truly stuck.

After taking a stained glass course in Sydney in 2023, I completely fell in love with the process. The slow rhythm of cutting glass, soldering pieces together and turning something fragile into something lasting. It quickly became more than a hobby. I turned my spare room into a tiny studio and started experimenting with mirrors, adapting traditional stained glass window techniques into pieces designed for interiors.

In 2025, I launched my first collection, Oat & Latte, a small drop inspired by creamy glass, warm amber tones, and the vintage, art deco, and mid-century styles I naturally gravitate toward. That collection shaped the direction of my work: soft, warm, nostalgic pieces that still feel at home in modern spaces.

Now based on the Central Coast of Sydney, I side-hustle a little studio at the front of my house, where I spend my time designing, testing ideas, and quietly collecting glass combinations I probably didn’t need but absolutely had to try.

Right now, I’m experimenting with designs for my new home, while focusing on custom pieces for clients, creating made-to-order mirrors that feel personal, thoughtful and made to last.

If you see something in the shop that you love, I can often recreate pieces to order. Or if you have a completely custom idea in mind, I’d love to hear from you - reach out through the contact form and we can explore together.
